CRHS offers students a variety of opportunities to get involved behind the scenes with our Technical Theatre program. Cedar Ridge Tech has five distinct areas of specialization in design and application: Scenery, Costumes, Lighting, Sound, and Stage Management.

Technical Theatre Classes

7461: Technical Theatre I

7462: Technical Theatre II

Prerequisite: Instructor Approval AND Technical Theatre I

Students learn stagecraft, design, theatre safety, scenery, properties, lighting, sound, costumes, public relations, and career opportunities in the entertainment industry.

7466: Technical Theatre III

Credit: 1

7467: Technical Theatre IV

Credit: 1

Prerequisite: Instructor Approval AND Technical Theatre II, III, IV: Credit in Theatre Arts I or the previous level of Technical Theatre

Students learn stagecraft, design, theatre safety, scenery, properties, lighting, sound, costumes, makeup, public relations and career opportunities and evaluate live performances.
